what? another email list?
The web's eye view e-mail list is distributed anywhere from 0 to 3 times per month. The content is mainly geared for faculty and staff of the Maricopa Community Colleges. It is sent every time we have gathered another good load of 30-40 new items for our Bag of URLs, a hand-picked collection of what we see as the more useful corners of the web, plus additional news and stories you can only get from our "eye".
There is no chatter on the list as it is only an outgoing listserv for distribution of what we write. The messages are brief. There is no spam. If you read your e-mail with your web browser or software that recognizes URLs, all of the web references are active links. (If this last sentence sounds like babble-talk, just ignore it!)

cool! i am there... but what if i missed an issue?
We are one step ahead! Check the archives for all previous mailings. Or you can create a bookmark to the most recent version, and we will simply update that file "as time goes by" (cue the music, Humphry!).
awesome! what else do you have?
Occaisionally we get ambitious and write "biting" editorials. We got tired of manually generating lists of sites, so we built a whole system, a "bag of URLs", that you can browse, search, and to which you can contribute. For previous incarnations, see how in the pre-Cambrian web era (i.e. way back in 1994!) we created lists of links, which evolved into a searchable 451°F collection. Also in the deep dark past, we web-published World Wide Web News.
