LEE is a computer-based educational program designed primarily for English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction. The goal of LEE is to help college-level adults with a moderate level of proficiency in English recognize the structural patterns of the English language and develop their writing skills at the sentence level.
A collaborative project of ESL faculty and staff at the Maricopa Community Colleges, LEE was developed by the Maricopa Center for Learning and Instruction. We are grateful to staff and students at Phoenix College for assisting with the recording and digitizing of the audio files used in the lessons.
We celebrated the "delivery" of LEE 1.0 on May 1, 1998 and released an updated version 1.5 in December 2000.
Since then, 1207 copies of LEE have been ordered from us.
If you are very interested in getting your own copy of LEE, please see our order form.
If you have identified a problem with LEE, please send us information via our Bug Report form.
